The Aftercare Program provides students with a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of our Lower School students and families during after-school hours. Under the watchful eye of ESF team members, students are engaged in a variety of planned activities from 3-6 PM.
After an academically demanding day at school, the Aftercare Program offers plenty of time for friends, fun and relaxation in a safe environment. Students are engaged in a variety of activities ranging in interest from arts and crafts to outside play, indoor games and homework. This program provides students in PreK – 5th grade with a flexible program from 3-6 PM. Students may attend from two to five days a week. *Unfortunately, due to health and safety precautions, drop-ins are not allowed.
*Note that aftercare staff will not be able to transfer children to and from other after school programs (i.e. sports, music lessons, tutoring). Our staff will remain with children attending the aftercare program during the duration of the day. Please arrange separately for your child to be brought to the aftercare office during other after school programs.
Note: Due to daily cleaning protocols, we ask that you pick up your child by no later than 6pm. Students not picked up by 6:00 PM will be charged a late fee of $15.00 for every fifteen minutes (Example: 6:01-6:15 = $15.00; 6:16-6:30 = $30.00). This charge will be applied per family, not per child.

Snack
Please provide a healthy snack for your child to have at the beginning of the Aftercare Program (3:00 PM). Students should also bring a water bottle. (You may provide one extra labeled snack to leave at school in case of emergency.)
Extra Clothes
Pre-K and K, please provide an extra set of clothes for Aftercare including: socks, underwear, and pants.
Homework
There will be times during the Aftercare Program that children will be able to work on their homework. There will also be a designated homework room where children can choose to go to complete all of their homework if needed/wanted. However, we will encourage the students to participate in the activities of the day to be part of the whole program.
Daily Schedule
There will be a rotating schedule that includes outside time and activity stations daily.
*As long as weather and daylight permit we will be going outside daily. Please remember to send your child with the appropriate gear for the season.
Pick-Up
All Students will be picked up at Lower School Car Line. Parents/Guardians must show photo identification at pick-up. Parents/guardians must show photo identification at pick up.
Aftercare Contracts, Schedules, and Rates
Aftercare is offered on regular school days from dismissal until 6:00 PM. Parents may contract on a 2, 3, 4, or 5-day basis for the academic year.
As shown in the table above, families may enroll for two or more days of the week. Aftercare is available to families that have committed to contracted hours. Once enrolled, families may extend their days for an additional fee but are not reimbursed for unused contracted days/hours.
